Opunake Primary School has attended NYLD for the last five years with our senior student leadership group , called the PRIDE team. On both occasions the students have returned to school inspired and motivated to succeed in their personal endeavours, be it in the classroom, on the sports field or at home.
The speakers involved come from so many different walks of life and cross so many fields that there is always something for someone and the students feel connected. It is also a really good place for students to network with students from other schools, a skill that will help our young leaders in the future.
